Abraham Nguyen also known as (Phuc Thien Nguyen) is the oldest of 5 children. His parents and late grandparents are major generals of the Faith. They have paved the way for him to walk in his calling and journey with Jesus. Abraham is a 3rd generation minister, who received the calling to ministry in his teenage years ~ choosing to follow his father’s footsteps. Born in Vietnam, his family migrated to the states in 1997 where Abraham was raised along the west coast of the mainland. He spent a few years in Portland, Oregon before his father relocated the family to Southern California where his dad finished seminary. 

Having the privilege of being raised in a christian household, he knew Jesus as far back as he can remember, his father being a preacher, and mother; an extreme intercessor and woman of faith. Abraham started his music career thanks to his dad. At the age of 4, his father started him on piano. He was such a tiny fella, his feet couldn’t even reach the pedals of the instrument. Abraham also started singing around this time and continued through the years with vocal and drum lessons. 

His parents would lead nightly devotionals for the entire family, it was here where the worship leader was born. Many songs were sung here, but mostly hymns which have a very special place in his heart.

At age 13, Abraham encountered the baptism of the Holy Spirit for the first time at a youth summer camp. Prior to that, he started leading worship for his youth group and followed his parents' ministry wherever God led them. At the age of 18, Abraham left his parents ministry and served the youth at another local church. He served there for a couple of years building the worship team and culture before God led him to attend Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry and Bethel Music College. The calling on his life for ministry unto the Lord and empowering others became more clear in that season. During his schooling, he spent time being led and pastored by wonderful leaders including; Dave and Taff Harvey, Haley Braun, Kristene Dimarco, Antonio Marin, and many other powerful world changers. Many of them have added fuel to the fire that lives inside of him, the fire to see the Gospel change the world. 

Abraham has 15+ years of worship leading experience, over 2 decades of music experience and a beautiful history of walking with people. He desires to make Jesus known and others to encounter Him. Abraham has a big heart for the world to see the Father rightly and wants people to step into deeper places with Him. Abraham also comes alive when he can help others discover the worshiper that lives within them. 

Abraham currently resides near Seattle, Washington where he leads the Young Adults at his church (Eden). He leads worship, helping build the worship label and write songs. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, volleyball, running and cooking. One of his favorite things is laughter so that being shared amongst friends is a precious thing.
